Millwork refers to custom-fabricated architectural woodwork — hoods, mantels, paneling systems, and built-ins produced to exact specifications. Carpentry is the on-site installation and finishing of these elements. We do both.
Yes. We regularly match original crown, base, and casing profiles in historic homes throughout Westchester and Fairfield County. We can mill custom profiles to match exactly, using original pieces as templates.
Shop fabrication typically takes 3–6 weeks after approved drawings. Installation time depends on scope — a single mantel takes 1 day; a paneled library with built-ins takes 1–2 weeks.
